IF YOU CAN NOT AFFORD BREAD, THEN TRY CAKES

IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD BREAD THEN TRY CAKES
Uganda would have been one of the best places to be on this planet but it has turned to the opposite. No reason to cry for this but i can't stop the tears flowing on my heart. the rich becoming richer and the poor becoming poorer. The cost of living is becoming higher and higher everyday. Many parents can't afford school fees, no drugs in the government hospitals, many families can't afford to have at least two meals a day and they survive on one meal a day. The nationals have always had endless hope in their government. unfortunately, the government observes this in a different way. Despite the fact that Ugandans have criticized the annual budget 2014/2015, the government urges that nothing can and nothing will be changed. The minister of finance says her budget is aimed at increasing government funds. The minister of education says that increasing the taxes posed on private schools will help the education sector grow and now i wonder how many children will drop out of school next year due to failure of paying school bills. Believe me or not the schools will divert these taxes to school through school bills. Many families can't afford to have at least two meals a day and i was shocked when the minister of finance read that taxes on sugar and rice are to be raised and this automatically means that theirs prices will go up for the traders to meet their profits. the rise of taxes on scholastic materials is unfair. Many studies show that children are dropping out of school because they lack scholastic materials. This shows that the poor are no longer needed in the country. The government has failed to deliver these services to the people. The nationals are trying their best to copy up with this hard situation and then the government raises taxes on the everyday basic needs. This reminds me one thing. " IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD BREAD, THEN BUY CAKES"
